L is for Lyric
Will you sing with me?
If I start,
If you start,
Shall we sing together?
The earth spins off harmony,
A jubilance of sparks—
Fireworks
In the mind
Our words become song
And, while orbiting,
An invitation:
Into our creating cups,
Ambrosia-better,
Liquid inspiration
Not for drinking but for
Utterance,
Music becoming
Current in the cosmos

i don’t know why but this lovely poem sounds romantic to me. ❤ ❤ ❤ love the rhythm and the length!

Thanks, Rosema, for commenting–with hearts–about rhythm and length. I often find these difficult to work out.

really?? it doesn’t sound like that when I read your poem. 🙂 it felt and flowed naturally. 🙂

Well, thank goodness. Natural is what I was after.

Yeah, it (these parts) can be hard. When acting on the stage, it’s encouraging to hear, You look so natural in the part. That’s what the actor’s after. It takes work. But, like writing, hopefully a labor of love. I have no doubt you work hard at your craft–starting with your expansive imagination and your generous heart.
