Megiddo
We need some peace,
Please
The quiet of a moment
Canceling out the noise of
Satan for a time
Minions, silly, yes
Of hell
We call them trolls and lurkers
So we don’t have to
Take it seriously
Cancel conversation
Isn’t that the same?
Not to think about what we say
But to turn and, because
We will not see it,
Ignore the table where
We might negotiate
And afterward have feasted

Talking seems out of the question these days. Bellicose ranting silences the voice of reason.

Sadly, you have explained the nix on talking concisely and (sadly, tragically) correctly.

And when the speakers seem uncertain of the meaning of the words they use…

“Ignore the table where
We might negotiate
And afterward have feasted”
this gave me goosebumps. reminds of the table only for the powerful who had nothing about the common people.

That’s a great interpretation, sister. Who keeps us from coming together to work out things and simply enjoy each other’s company? When it comes to nations as well as smaller communities, we must point to leadership. And those who power leadership.
