The focal point for

Freedom and

For worship

Manna

Or like water from a rock

The people had been given

Light when

Darkness by the rules

Should have returned

Praise the Lord

Who needs insufficient

Oil to light lamps,

Who can

Feed the hungry

Without what we count on

As real food,

Water by divining

(for being divine)

Who sponsors home

And time

And holy life

When and where there

Had been none for

So long, now all in safety

And in light

I use C L Couch when writing formally because it is a version of my name that's genderless. And, frankly, easier for handwriting--I have a severe writer's cramp. In conversation, I go by Christopher, having been named for the boy who had the poly bear and finally being (achieving) fine with that. I use small Xes all the time because WordPress won't let me cut and paste the text from my program page to this one. (Grrrrrr.) I am a career educator, semi-retired due to disability.
